LIQUIDITY PRACTICE / 6 MIN READ
Quotes, price impact and slippage
A quote estimates the output for a trade at the current state. Price impact is the change your trade causes relative to that state. Slippage protection sets the minimum output you are willing to receive if conditions change before execution.
A failed quote is not a reason to disable output protection. Reduce the size, inspect liquidity or wait for a reliable route. Kitchen swaps and range deposits execute through its own router and position manager. Check the published contract addresses and the transaction details in your wallet.
