Fees are not the same as profit

To evaluate a position, compare the current value of all assets and claimed rewards with the value of what you deposited. Account for gas, protocol fees, swaps and any withdrawals. A rising reward counter is only one part of the result.

Claiming moves accrued rewards to your wallet, while compounding reinvests them and may require an additional swap. Neither action removes price exposure. Kitchen crystallizes incentive rewards when you unstake. Claim then transfers the accrued reward balance to your wallet. The interface waits for an onchain receipt rather than treating a signature as completion.
